bio-techonoly and drip irrigation for increasing their yield and
production.

Incentives for better share in exports of export-oriented
agri produce like Isabgul, Jira, Mangoes etc.
Establishment of
Commodity Exchange for Future Trading.
Strengthening farmers to face WTO regime through varieties
of crops, increasing yields, exports of their produce and for
this, private investment would be attracted for its infrastructure.
Incentive for indigenous fertilizer use.
By developing brand names with proper processing and
packing, the agri produce can fetch better price, planning will be
undertaken for benefit of farmers.
The farmers are concerned by meter system in electric
supply. We firmly believe that a national policy on electricity
meter system for agriculture needs to be their. No meter system will
be introduced in agriculture in Gujarat till
national policy is decided and implemented in all states including
the states rule by congress. BJP is committed to fight on this issue
and unless it is implemented in the whole country, Gujarat will not
introduce it for farmers.
VISHWAGRAM (GLOBAL VILLAGE)
Agriculture is
linked to rural development. Agriculture is linked to economic
progress. In order to move fast in this sector, agricuture has to be
linked with science, international market, cyber world and free
markets. In order to linked farms, agriculture and farmers to the
world market, state will provide necessary infrastructure and create
global villages.
